2010 Convention Sophie, aka Pinup Sophie

Heyo! Yet another mini finished, this time less than a week since the last one; for me it's quite unprecedented :D. This is the limited edition Convention Sophie from 2010, which was only available at the conventions Reaper visited that year (as opposed to the ReaperCon Sophies which can be bought in the online store during the con). I painted her up in the traditional Sophie colors but made her a blonde instead of a brunette, but only because she told me to.

She's the first thing I've painted since my long painting hiatus that didn't fight me while painting, and that I think looks pretty darned comparable to my pre-break stuff. The wings came out a little flat in the photos, but I'm happy the camera loved the skin.

As always, feel free to let me know what you think, and especially which parts were a let-down and need to be focused on. Now that I'm able to paint for long stretches again I'm itching to improve my painting, hopefully to a competitive level if I can keep the momentum up for a year or so :D.

I made two voting links, one for multiple normal shots and one for multiple stereo shots, so feel free to pick which one you like the most (or least) and vote on it :D. Normal voting link

IMO this isn't even the most "pin-uppy" of the Sophies, given that they're all basically pin-ups :) I have the cowgirl version and it's probably one of the cheesecakiest figures in my display cabinet (but cool enough that I'm not embarrassed to own it)

My wallet screamed when I clicked that link Mike!

Another nice UK reaper supplier is leisure games. I don't know how good their mail order is but I have been into the shop and purchased stuff... nice lot.

It's a good company to do business with, efficient communication and supplies as quickly as he can.
Payday's next week for me and I can feel a reaper Fire Giant Princess coming my way.

As an aside I feel very sorry for a lot of small businesses like miniature heroes who are getting "shafted" by the recent rise in postage costs while trying to compete in todays market.

Nice job on that!

I think she'd look better sans the wings, but that probably misses the point of 'Sophie'.
