170mm scratcbuilt Wolfguard Terminator.

The giant Space Marine obsession continues. This time it’s a 170mm Wolfguard Terminator build, am on day 2. I am going for a more dynamic pose on this one compared to the more neutral pose of the Deathwing Terminator. I also want to change the knee configuration to separate round knee pads. This is where I am at (apart from making wolf skulls) so far so good, and having made mould of the main pieces it’s a godsend. As for weapons at the moment I am thinking bloody great double headed axe in the right hand (Snaga the blades of no returnesque) and a gauntlet mounted storm bolter for the left.

While I am excited to see them when done, those are for a Blood Angel Terminator I am planning. This one will have a big axe and gauntlet mounted storm bolter

the green stuff works very good, especially the skull.

Made some more progress, after chopping and reposing the legs, added a few more detail bits and built a honking great Axe. Still have to finish and add the Celtic scrollwork to the leg armour, finish the wolf pelt and loin cloth, axe, base etc.

After a months work the Wolfguard Terminator is finally finished. I made a few last minute changes and additions. Changed the chest Aquila for some decorative panels and added some others to the Tassets. Then got it painted, I am far from the worlds greatest painter but am happy with the overall effect.

Thanks Hairster, having moulds for the main parts helps a lot. As for the group pic, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
