I have almost finished my gandalf on shadowfax base using Klute\'s water basing. The thing i was wondering about however is to create splashes on the hooves (3 of which are lifted off the ground). Would almost dried PVa brushed on look like water running off these legs? Thanks in advance

I got the gandalf on shadowfax over a year ago now and have been scared to attempt to paint it because of the sheer amount of white on it (been swayed now cos of ROTK :P). Has anyone got any ideas how to do the horse in particular? Thanks a lot

Hi! I have a certain problem when it comes to painting faces. My mini faces always seem to have a bumpy, chalky appearance whilst the rest of the mini has a smoother look. can anyone help me get over this problem as it realy ruins the look of some of my minis (especially Frodo :()

I only bought a new pack of greenstuff yesterday and saw that when i rolled a bit into a ball or tryed to sculpt it, it would crack and split...is there anything to do to stop this? This didnt happen with previous GS i have bought.....:flame:

I am going to try making a diorama that involves The Gorgon Rackham miniature and another miniature being turned to stone. Does anyone know any good techniques for the \"stoned\" figure. Also do you think i should stone the miniature\'s weapon, clothes and armour or just skin? Thanks all:)

I use Games Workshop paints for my models and i\'m about to start trying NMM. I think i\'ll be able to handle silver using NMM but i\'m not too sure about gold and bronze colours. Can anyone tell me what GW paints to mix to create these colours? Thanks a lot;)
