    Modern Female Elf

Does anyone know where I could find a female elf figure in current-era clothes? A friend asked me and I can only think of a couple that fit the bill.

How would you make purity seals?

Has anyone tried making Purity Seals on Sister of Battle Models? I\'d like to hear what you guys have tried, and how well it worked out. I put a bead of hot glue on the end of small dowel and then used that to take an impression of a detail on a Sister Superior. It makes a fairly decent seal...

    Greenskins on Gray

I\'ve been painting quite a few greenskined characters lately - dragons, lizardmen, orks, and goblins. I\'ve noticed that green skin seems to work best on top of gray. White makes it look cartoony. Black is too dull. Gray seems just right. Anyone else experience this?

    Guinness IS good for you!

Ever heard the old slogan, \"Guinness is good or you\"? Turns out it\'s true! Guinness is lower in alchohol, calories, and carbs than any beer not specifically labled \"lite\". While doctors have long recommended moderate drinking (about one serving a day) to help prevent heart attacks, a...

    Vallejo orange skin

I painted a mini using Vallejo Dwarf Flesh as my base coat, then layered up through Elf Flesh and highlit with Pale Flesh. The finished mini had an orange cast. Poor thing looks like she\'s wearing cheap foundation. Anyone else experience this? Got any suggestions on how to avoid this in the...

Finally figured out the camera problem

I know I\'ve had some attrocious camera problems. Finially figured out what the issue was. I was setting the camera up too close to the fig. Doh! ??? I moved it back about another six inches, and everything is so much better. That, and I put my hand by the fig so the camera has something...

    Does anyone else do this?

When you are all by yourself painting, do you ever do something and ask yourself, \"Gee, I wonder if anyone else does that?\" If so, what is it? For example, I\'ll be painting along and get a drop of something in a place I don\'t want it. So I quickly dab my brush in the rinse water and clean...
