I have a few miniatures that have flames sculpted on them. How do you paint flames? Is it lighter the further out the flame or lighter towards the centre of it? In particular I would be doing green flames.

What do you use? For smaller figures I just glue them to a cork but it doesn't work for heavier figures. Any ideas?

What tools/things do you use to get the paint out of the pots? At the moment I am using wooden skewer things but its very haphazard and extremely hard to match correct water ratios and consistency. What do you use?:P

Are the plastics in the Battle for Skull Pass set of a much poorer quality to the ones sold in the regiment box? Aren\'t they the same figure with same pose etc.? I assumed they would use the same moulds but I heard rumors that the BFSP box set is of a much poorer quality. Anybody know anything...
