Bar Matron
I call her bar matron because she came in a set and the other one looks younger and shall be called Bar Maid when I get around to painting her. I picked this mini out for the CCV contest because I thought I needed a normal female. I knew Jason liked seeing the "civilian" minis from past contests. However, once I got going on her I sort of hit a wall creative wise. (luckily I did 3 other entries - and I never stood a chance in the over-stuffed fantasy category anyway). She is bland, and if she were to be used in play that would make sense since she'd just be part of the background. I did have fun painting auburn/red hair though. The base is what she came on. I guessed it was supposed to resemble a straw-covered tavern floor so that's how I painted it. Enjoy, and comments are always appreciated.
