Converted Space Marine Stg in MK5 Heresy pattern armor

I like the studs and external hoses on MK5 armor.I also like the idea of a vet stg wearing his chapters relic armor into battle. This conversion was a lot of fun to do, im looking forward to doing more.

well you asked for tips so here goes mark 5 armour had molecular bonding studs which are more rounded like half spheres which is a hard loo to achieve i would say the best way to do it is to roll greenstuff into tiny little speres leave then to dry and then halve them i like how you have done the extra tubing but its much too neat the reason mark 5's had extra tubing was because wen the horus heresy began mark 4 armour wasnt distrbuted properly and the tech preists werent used to and its high tech cooling methods so extra old style coolant from the mark 2's and 3s were added randomly where needed what im trying to say is your mark 5 looks like it was designed to have the pipes in those places whereas really mark 5s werent desingned at all they were just meshed together from scraps or mark 2 3 and 4 armours mangled together and reinforced with extra armour also where youve sculpted those skulls i can still see the original knee pad lol if youd like info on all the space marine armour models 1 to 7 i can scan in the article about it from this ancient white dwark i own from the early 90's which lists all the types tell how they were made and what was going on around the time they were made

I like the studs. I always liked the pre-heresy armor look. The modern/plain space marine look is a little to clean for the gritty world they made up for 40k. Nice Conversion.
