'Amber Dragon' Conversion/Alternate Color Scheme

Looked all over the internet trying to find a dragon paint job to inspire me, but I had to wing it with this strange color scheme and simple miniature. I painted it for a big California convention and found out how obscene the number of hours can get concentrating on the details! She has been bent at the wings and the extremities posed. I was trying for a unique pose flying up over the rock out cropping. Most all the scales have been shaded and highlighted individually, and the black eye area was added for interest. The wing 'patern' was a stretch in trying to find something a little diffeerent for interest. Please drop me a line if you've seen any unique dragon paintjobs! Thanks for looking.

I love the layering on the wings. I am not a good judge of these large mini's but it looks like a uniqe color sceme. It look good overall.

Greetings! And I am the head of the mini-painting department of that 'Big California convention'...That is: KublaCon! This dragon placed a well-deserved Silver award in the KublaCon mini-painting contest in the large fantasy category. Kudos to you! Wayne Rogers
