My Nurgle Dreadnaught from GD Atlanta '05

Hey people this is my first post so check it out! This model from forgeworld was so very nice that I had to put all I could into it and I think it turned out cool. I took it to Games Day in Atlanta this year on a lark and got Silver! I am currently trying to figure out a Land Raider for this army that would match the Dread for next year's GD I have the forgeworld doors but would like to keep the same look throughout the whole model not just the doors. Any suggestions?

I like the paint job on the armour plating, but I think the metallics need some more work. The main problem I think is that the base is a bit lacklustre. This model deserves something a bit more special than the standard base it comes with. It is very dark, there doesn't seem a great deal of shading and highlighting going on and I think the 4 shell casings you have put on the base for additional detail would have looked better if it was a great big pile!! Plus there there is a visible thumbprint on the edge. Anyway, congratulations on the Demon you got for it!

sorry for being so rude - it is better than a 6, and you do deserve your medal. in the future be more respectful of other peoples mini selections. i will give you a 10 to balance out the 6 and give you an 8. the constructive criticisms in my previous posts still stand - though most of them are a matter of preference i think they could help improve your score (a custom base to complement your mini in particular). well done and merry xmas (or happy holidays).
