The yellowsness of the pic hides all highlites. You should adjust the white balance in your camera ;).

The pic looks like it yellowed on you so I wonder how close this looks to the original colors you used. It looks like its just getting started, not like a finished mini. Take some time to give it highlights and some wood grain maybe. Keep it up.
