Converted Italeri 20mm Country House
1:72 Italeri plastic kit "upgraded/converted" by us - new flooring all over, interior detailing including doors, interior textured walls, steps, first-floor flooring and improved roof - based on new N gauge terrain board and the whole thing given a "once over" with our usual groundwork detailing. Minis in the photos are 20mm WWII painted by Andrew Taylor - please do not score on the figures though as they are only included for scale and highlighting certain features (open windows etc). The Italeri Kit used was not very impressive – having lots of bad casting and skewed features, horrid seems, cornerstones that did not marry up and lots of other niggles that made it a rather bad kit… with a bit of effort though it can end up looking rather good and eminently playable for 20mm wargames.
