bretonnian pegasus knight base

thought i would pit my scratchbuilt base for my first pegasus knight on to gauge reaction and see if it could be improved. the stone blocks are individually made from milliput and each pinned and glued into position. the climbing rose entwined stems are also miliput, the roses are made from green stuff and each rose is pinned and glued into position, the leaves are modelling laef shaped scatter. the gargoyle has also been pinned and glued into position and painted in a weathered bronze effect. the stained glass window is freehand painted on clear plastic and cut to look like it has broken over the years, looks great when the light shines through, i thought the picture gave it a bretonnian feel. finished off with modelling autum grasses and games workshop grass. i'm really please with it and hope i can do it justice with a well painted pegasus knight.

very good idea, the vines and greenery give it a nice overgrown feel and the stained glass freehand is very good, i'd like to see a side view as i think it would give a better 3 dimensional look of the gargoyle etc
