looks like you got too close for the camera to focus. Often you are better backing up the camera and then cropping the pic later with software. Also you are having light issues. The right side of the pic is too dark.
Paint job is clean, lots of buckles and straps to drive you crazy. The fingers could sand some darker tones between them for separation. Layering on the face looks pretty good as does the one eye I can see well.
