Your Brettonian army must look fine if all painted to this neat standard. On closer inspection they of course suffer from lack of highlighting and detailing. I agree with Kenfs comments on the base. You will be surprised how a little work on the bases will improve your armies looks even if the paint job is only standard.
Actually that's rather good... The model's really neatly painted, but the cloth barding, especially the blue areas, could do with another highlight or two. Other than that I feel the base could be improved by gluing sand and flocking in patches with static grass. You're on the right track, though. good job.
