Durin's Bane

A picture of my Balrog composited with some flame effects. i guess you can't see the paint job very good, but that's not the point of this picture. Every Balrog I've ever seen looks a little blah no matter how well it's painted. To do the thing justice, you really need shadow and flame! And I didn't want to set my model on fire, so...

This is a good special effects composite, but i'm not here to look at 2D art so I am rating you a 1. I'd rate you a 8 for the actual photo, you've done an excellent job on blending it together, except maybe the excessive blur on the edge of the wing -1 point for that, it is almost transparant.

Thanks, Fizl. The goal of this picture is to create an impression of the mighty Balrog that can't be realized with a paint job alone, no matter how good it is. To that end, I'd ask people rate the overall effect of the photo. If they can't do that, I understand. No harm done. But I really don't care how people feel about the paint job since that's not the point of the work.
