very nice work, could use a little more deep tones. i personally see no problem with the eyeshadow, if YOU want to put it on then put it on and ignore what other people think in terms of if it's "right" or "wrong" for her to be wearing it, it's your piece and your idea.
Nice one, but is it just me.... but she seems to wear eyeshadow. It looks unnatural, as if she was wearing makeup ( which shouldn't be the case, I believe, for a barbarian ). I like the hair, the highlights are subtle, but they seems to be lacking on her ponytail. Maybe you should work on shadowing a bit more the green parts, it would add more volume. The base is nice, if minimalist. Maybe it's just me, again, but the metallic part of her armour on her left arm could have used more shadowing too, like the metallic part on her right leg. I like the way you painted her cheekbone. Very nice.
