Managarm, The Traitoress

When painting this I found myself quite constrained by a contest deadline and wasn't able to give the figure the water base to mesh it with the rest of my army. Another thing lacking is the darklining (which I tend to be a little light on in any case). The main criticism that I received with this figure was that the cloth and the skin were too close to each other in color. I believe that this would be fixed with a healthy dose of darklining but I haven't really felt like going back to finish her as I'd rather be working on new projects. I used underpainting on the skin, hair, and the clothing and layering everywhere else. To achieve the dappled effect I used an old brush with a frayed end to draw some of the paint off the figure to give an uneven coat. The block on the base is from a Hirst Arts mold.

Good job!! That kind of green is very suitable to the blue and grey. I like the coulors and the well done painting.
