Flesh Golem

Fun mini--nothing like some good old fashioned bruised, rotten body parts stitched together and animated into a hulking monster! Did some subtle lighting effects under the brow and around the eyes to make them "glow" I used Liquitex Matte varnish to finish the mini. Under the photo lights it defintely "shines" more than dullcoat, although it doesn't appear that much more glossy in person...BUT the colors hold up far better with this vs. dullcoat! There is almost no "flattening" or dulling of the colors like there is with dullcoat--the colors remain true and bright, which is cool. The base is Super Sculpy and the moss is one of the Golden Texutred Acrylics--like an acrylic paste with sand suspended in the medium applied with a mini-trowel along the crack lines.
