One of my best painted miniatures--I really was "in the zone" while blending the skirt. Now if I could only get my head in that mindset more often..... The bottom photo was done over a year ago with a different camera. It's posted on the The Last Alliance Miniature gallery site. The top photo shows where I recently repainted the brown base with a darker tone at the bottom edge.

Thanks:) Yeah, the finish on the sword is a bit rough--Gotta learn how to do NMM. Her dress is shadow grey, with the highlights built-up and blended by adding bleached bone to the shadow grey. The hair was basecoated with brown, then progressively highlighted with bleached bone and skull white.

Very nice. I agree that the skirt is well blended. I like the muddying up of the bottom of the skirt, it adds a bit of realism to the mini. I think that the sword is not done as well as the rest of the mini, it looks a little ruff in the top pict. The hair also looks nice. What colors ddi you use on it?:D
