Demon with Lighting Effects

I wanted to try something using the Object Light Sourcing thingma-bob, so I chose to do an older mini I had. The idea here is that the demon is being lit up from the skull sceptre he is carrying as a torch. Ideally, I wanted some of the Demons details to be lit up, but the rest of the mini and the base itself to be in complete darkness, like the Demon is shambling around a pitch black lair. I made stalagmatites (or are they stalagmaites) out of milliput, which was also a first for me working with that stuff. Can't say i'm a big fan of it... I know it is a cop out to say, but he really does look a bit more convincing in real life. I tried photographing him with a black background to highlight the effect, but the colors just wouldn't work, so I went with the standard blue background. The inset picture conveys the idea a bit better. But that one is manipulated by taking all the brightness out of the pic. Please vote and comment, the comments being much more important to the process.... Thank you...supervike

Sorry that comment made it sound like your sculpting was bad. I meant the substance itself sucks, but your sculpting was good.
