Well, the mini is nice (my mark is really a 6.5 or so) , without having to say that grey knights usually are somehow grey or metallic, anyway, try to make smoother lighting and thin down the paint to ge a better finish, it will take you longer to finish an area but the result will be much better. Having said this the better way to improve is to practice a lot and to read a lot about new techniques, by the way, flames are done with the lightest colour inside and the darkest in the perimeter, if you are not convinced take a look at a match burning:
