Converted Captain Lysander of the Imperial Fists

I am trying to sell this model to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend as a surprise for this holiday season. That is the only reason I am selling this item. I had converted this Captain Lysander model to be pointing as I thought the standard model was lacking in his presence. Don't get me wrong I think it is a great model. But he is after all a Captain and his pose seemed too defensive to represent his character of taking the fight to the enemy. I felt him pointing where he was looking better suited him and his fast attack stance. This will be my first entry in to attempting for staff Golden Demon this year at Baltimore. I spent about 16 hours between resculpting and painting on him. And yes, some of the scriptures on him actually say things that can be read once you know what they say ;)

Agree the mini is a little lacking normally, but the fists are noted for their defensive ability above all. Emperors praetorians, defenders of terra and such.

This took Bronze in staff single model at Baltimore Games Day 05. I changed the hammer last minute that morning at 6am (was still painting WE Previews).

Yellow is a very tough color to paint and it seems you have mastered it. Subtle conversions, like his arm, are just as dynamic as a leaping fantasy giant. The purple is okay but, you might be right about the color tie-in.
