Reposted..! :) (the old picture has been erased by CMON, some sysem mistake) I´ve tried difficult lightsource effect, because so fine sculpted magic portal should be used better than usual. I know that the light is maybe too sharp and too hard, but I want to create strong magic effect which should be visible and effective. It was real funt to paint it..! :) I hope you like it and I will be glad if you can leave here you comment, advice or opinion..! :)

Cool - but als Lerva said, this guy should cast a deep black shadow ... thats the only thing missing!

I think you did great with the lighting... but since you were asking for an opinion: shouldn´t there be a lot deeper shadows in front of the figure? The strong backlighting should leave the front of the figure, the front of the steps almost in the dark. Plus, the guy himself should be casting a shadow! As it is, the lighting itself looks great (two thumbs up for ingenuity!!), but it´s lacking... well, shadows.
