here is the mini I did for the french GD. Didn't get nything with it ( obviously :P) but i'm quit pleased with the way it turned out. I tried out a couple of nez things on him. First It was my first time using green stuff. I used it to do the base, took me a couple of trys to get somthing decent, but I think I acheived a prety good result. Actually it was my first time spending so much time on a base :p (hate doing bases). This model was also my first try at freehand, I didn't want to leave the back of the cloak blank and though that the eye of sauron would be fiting. Thanks to all the people who helped me out with the mini (cedric, becca,tracy,tony,michael...hop I'm not forgeting anyone:p) and I think I'v managed to learn a couple of things with it :D

Nice! The atmosphere is great on the mini and the freehand looks really good. The blending is pretty smooth especially on the blues and i think you are improving with every mini. Could use perhaps a few more subtle highlights on some places. The metals look good, though they could have been a bit smoother. I'd love to see the face of the mini. I think the base maybe are a too strong contrast to the mini. The mini itself looks like it's in the dark, illuminated maybe by a streetlamp. I think you should have retained that atmosphere on the base and used darker colours. good job!
