Samurai Ogre Hunter

This is my first attempt at sculpting a green.... or mostly green. Being my first attempt I tried to keep it simple by sculpting a larger figure. Unfortunately I lack one critical skill... patience. I got bored towards the end and used a plastic goblin right hand and an ogre head. Some of the bits were supplied by the Ogre kingdoms box set. The long bow, quiver and coolie are made using hobby plastic. This guy being the outdoorsy type sports a broad coolie, fur boots and a straw rain cape (unfortunately you can't see much of the cape but it turned out better then expected). I'm putting together a Samurai style Ogre kingdom army and this fellow is intended to be their Hunter. Frankly I can't stand the new pudgy GW Ogres so I went to work shaving off their fat guts and bitch tits and making them into mean looking Samurai types. Eventualy I'll get some painted examples up. Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. I finaly got it Painted! 97942

Oh my god you stole my idea! Damn you to hell! Ill catch up when I get the money, A suggestion would be to theme them as being traders from Cathay, cause GW Fluff portays Cathay as being a oriental style city. Afew other ideas would be Leadbelchers that shoot out fireworks. The sculpt is beautiful and I would love to see my idea done better than I ever could.

Nice work for a first sculpt. Smoothing is something people find hard to do when they use GS. The one thing lacking in the figure is folds in the clothing. I'd study that before doing the next sculpt.
