Hassle Free Tiriel and the Lost Shrine Diorama

This piece was done with sculpey as usual, but all the individual parts were sculpted seperately and baked. Once they were baked, they were painted and prepped for assembly. This method allowed me to make the walls much thinner, so that the diorama would not be too heavy to ship. All of the textures were carved into the baked sculpey, and the rose window frame was sanded down so that it would fit into the opening. It actually fit in there so well that I didn't even have to use any glue! I will be doing an article on this diorama which will explain many of the techniques used to create it. :-) I have lots of work in progress, step by step pics! I have also included pictures of the mini itself, which was a fun figure to paint.

Absolutely fantastic! I like building terrain, but this is outstanding. I love the color scheme and shading. The figure is great as well. Keep the great stuff coming.
