Thorgram Grimsteel Dwarf King

My vison with this mini was a Dwarf King scouting out his lands. with only his trusty axe and hawk in tow. I tried several new ways of doing the metal on this mini. On the Blue Steel parts I based with Reaper Truesilver washed it with a light blue ink and highlighted with Reaper Truesilver. On the steel parts I was wanting a blue shine mithral feel. On the Gold parts I based with Reaper Dragon Gold, washed with Reaper Ruby Red Ink and Highlighted with Reaper Bright Gold. On the Gold I was going for a red gold feel. This is also one of my 1st attempts with painting gems. Thanks for looking and please feel free to leave comments. As usual sugestions on how to improve are greatly appreciated. :D

The gold and silver is well-painted and the fur + birdy look realistic... great brown...:)... The base is cool (i like the use of "real" suff on bases...:)...)... 8 Points...^_^...

Nice work. I don't like the wings on his helmet, they look a bit harsh, but the rest is nicely executed. You could work more to make smoother blendings and highlight your metallics a little, it would easily get at least one point higher then.
