Yeah the red is overpowering. If they need that much red to match your army, then you need a secondary or even tertiary color for your scheme. There's nothing that states that you can paint the boots leather brown, if it the natural color of the material it needs no explaination. IMO
I did consider that, but it didn't work with the rest of the army. the sahding does come out more IRL - and I have since highlighted a little more as well. Probably looking at selling the army shortly.
A bit too "I've only got the one shade of red paint" red for me. The capes should be a bit different than the gloves, same for the leggings/boots.
Very good tabletop.
