I love plastic miniatures ;) Sure you get less expensive and solid material for more money now with the new SM Boxes but conversions and variations can be made far more easily now. This Dark Angel Captain got a base out of cork plant and an energy lance from a WHFB Empire general.

Your paint job is excellent, but I don't like the lance. Everything about the Space Marines is larger-than-life; the armour, the weapons, the marines themselves. It seems emasculating to give such a powerful character a little lance like that. The length is good, but the head should be bigger and meaner, like a Greay Knights halbard, I think. And the taper doesn't feel fitting. Great work nonetheless, the shading on the cloak is fantastic. Keep up the good work.
