This miniature was painted in January 2005. Holger Schmidt had asked me if I would change a miniature with him. He gave me one of his unpainted miniatures and I gave him one of mine, after painting them they were changed back. I always wanted to make such a base, and in this case it fits to the miniature. The pillar is from Forge World, the rest is self made. This is the first time I tried to give the rim of a cloak a dirty look, and I think it looks quite good. The falcon was a real challenge! The feathers are painted on to the mini because they were not all sculpted. As reward I received the "Ambassador of Acheron" painted by Holger (You can find it here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/77580)! Now we are able to look at the work of the other very closely to study the painting style! ;) But I am a little bit sad that I had to give this mini away. Comments are welcome!!
