well, this miniature is better than tabletop. I think one of the problems is the size of the picture. The second problem seems to be that most of the paint job seems very flat-- very little depth (highlights, shadows). Now, that may be just because of the picture quality, but if you made the shadows and highlights a bit too subtle, try to punch them out! It even surprises me sometimes how amazing things look with just one more layer of highlights. ;)
