Ogre Kingdom Slave Giant

I did this one for the Paint Aid project (http://www.paintaid.moonfruit.com). From what I've understood in the army book, when not at war, slave giants are chained to cave walls, beat up, and seldom fed by the ogres. So I thought that he'd have to look skinny and completely beserk when let loose. I also wanted to avoid the dumb look that the official minis of giants have because these giants are supposed to come from a civilisation of giants and they don't hang out with orcs and goblins. When I was ready to base him, I found out that there would be problems with getting him to stay up. So that's how the Gnoblars ended up on the base. Not only do they add to the decorum, but they also keep him steady and avoid him from sloutching down. That Gnoblar in the bear trap on his belt is supposed to be the giant's food store.

Dark Art
The whole aspect to the Ogre kingdoms slave gaint is spot on. There is alot of character in this miniature. With lots of movement captured in the pose thanks to the winging chains. I like the clothes that the gaint is wearing. The whole model has a very realistic feel to it. Bring on the Gaint Kingdoms.
