Mini diorama, using GW questing knight and old warhound. Title of this piece "The Quest Begins" well I forgot to weather the barding, but if he's only just left his shiny castle... The ponds woodland scenic water stuff, real easy to scorch/dis colour or burn yourself with. Please TAKE CARE to anyone using it. Rushes are wire dipped into superglue then sand, nice effect, can't remember where I poached it from. Sheild is an old one, lost the one the guy came with. Painted this for my Dad as it kinda looks like him. Please leave comments and criticisim... I have reached a plateau with my painting and need help

My first thought is that there is not enough shading & highlighting on the figures to make them really pop. Also, painting the horse grey makes it look like you took a plastic horse & left the tail & legs unpainted. The diorama looks good but a more impressive paint job would make it really special. :)
