The Aviatrix

No, not Di Caprio's more feminine side. This is a sculpt I've been working on for about a year done up in bronze. All sculpted by my hands right down to the nine cylinder radial engine that forms her base. She is ~1/4 scale bust in case you were wondering. Enjoy :)

Thank's for the kudos NSA. You have a very sharp eye, Amelia was in part inspirational in the bust, but I didn't like how butch she looked, so I crossed her with a nose art Vargas girl. Yes, more can be cast in a variety of mediums if you are interested you can e-mail me garyo@chiselandmold.

Beautiful. Not a very faithful portrait of Amelia Earhart (her face was thinner and more angular) but I can't assume you meant it to be her specifically. You've clearly mastered sculpting both organic forms and machinery. Can you have more cast in bronze or is this a one-off?
