Hello, this is my first mini on this site. Its a LOTR High elf in a not GW Color sceme (? hope this is the right english word). After watching the Making Of the movie one more time I reckocknized that the High Elfes had green-golden armour. So I tried a bit with shading a glazing over a basecoat of boltgun metal. The pics are not so good, Im still struggeling with my brother digi cam. All comments and critics are welcome as Im trying to improve my skills. Oh, Im painting for about a year now. Thanks for voting/commenting.

Maiden of Dark Times
I've often wondered why people didn't mute their color palette more when it comes to Elves. This just proves that nice, rich, foresty colors work exceedingly well for Elves. And in my own opinion, much better! Hoping to see more soon. Fantastic mini!

Okay, given how good this mini looks, I don't quite understand how it only rates as a 6.6? I've seen minis no where near this good with higher ratings. I just don't get it. Nice job AZOutlaw!

This is really well done. Beautiful! I love your muted palette; makes the fig truly realistic. Even the base treatment is just right. Looking forward to your future pics.
