Inks were only used on the gold and leather pouches and only brown at that, but I do know what you mean. I've also discovered that Testors Matt Varnish causes the GW Imperial Purple to run. It makes the skin nicely blended, but it meant a crap load of repainting for Dark Elf banners.
Great work here. I'm a fan of the colour choices, as well as the clean textures on the skin, blade, and frog. It looks as though some gloss varnish or ink has pooled in a few recesses, which is a drag. Cheers!
