You're right, but when you gotta paint a large amount of minis which look all the same (there are 3-4 slayer minis except heroes and the old ones i got from mail order), you get tired very soon and it's hard to focus on a single model and give it details and a proper base. If you add the fact that I have very little spare time, you can understand that I prefere to have a full painted unit rather than a well painted couple of models. Anyway I'll follow your hint and I'll post "single model" pictures very soon. Thanks for the comment and sorry for my English! Cheers, MACK PS: I usually don't use inks 'cos they make look the minis too shiny (which I don't like). Any tip on how to ink glaze a mini without making it look like I jammed it in petroleum jelly?

Very good for tanble top models. You can still advance a long way though, too much to go into quickly though. I'd say, photograph a few minis individualy for the best idea of quality and crop away excess. I would also do painted bases too. Using sand and drybrushing. The, admitedly, quick method of flock on the base fades and looks a bit crap after a while. Find a good metalics tutorial and try out the ideas, you models should become a big step better. Maybe try to take some highlight brighter too, on the beards for example. Don't be afraid to go really light then shade with ink glazes afterwards.
