Eldar Swooping Hawk Squad Biel Tan

Ooh, do these guys represent a lot of sneakiness! I painted the exarch sometime earlier. And of course, in terms of game play, an exarch alone is just about useless. So I bought the four regular Swooping Hawks at the end of August, and painted every night that my husband was working night shift. This was harder than it sounds, because first I had to put the kid to bed, then I sometimes had to force myself to paint because I hate painting alone. Oh, and this is the first time I've painted multiples of the same type of mini, and I realized that I am really, really, not a good troop painter. If I painted an army, it may, and I mean MAY, be done three years later. LOL However, nearly four months later, voila! The Hawks were done in time for Christmas, and he was totally surprised. Sigh, another successful Christmas present, and now he can use the flighty things in a game finally. :) Comments are always welcomed and appreciated.

I never thought that a worldcraft-color-sheme would fit up on aspect-warriors, since they have their own shrine colors and I just can't imagine green hawks. Actually the bright white plates go pretty well with that "whitish" green undercoat. I kinda like it. The bases are great aswell and the colored wings (even though I'd do my own differently) go perfectly to the old codex description.

Awsome, it was the Exarch of this squad that convinced me to collect Biel Tan Eldar. To see them all together is lovely:)
