paintjob is Ok. I would prefer more accents, although they are hard to do for black and white. The colour of the shield and the lion somehow doesn't fit to the armour, in my opinion. Maybe you should introduce the silver of the armour also to the shield. And i think you should try to avoid the glossy look. I give a 6 for the paintjob +1 for your consequential use of chess-pattern.
