My first piece of terrain. I scratch built it using twisted aluminum wire for light weight and Cellu-clay along with some glued on lichen from the hobby shop. I then painted it with some earth tones to finish it up. Probably use it in a diorama or just for displaying all the wood elves I own. Total job took around 4 hours from start to finish. Comments welcome.

I agree: the base is a must :) My trees are't as good as yours...:( I'll post them if I get a digicam in my hands.

I would go for a rounded and tapered look on the base, add grass/rocks etc... It would go a point or even two. The tree looks fantastic though- can't wait to see next project!
