Manticore
This mini was kind of an experiment for me. I really wanted to limit my colors, so I used basically only browns for my palatte (other than some flesh color for the face). Some of these older minis are great 'learner' pieces to work on, and that is how I have been approaching painting them. I like some of my blending on but can now see (with the help of the photo) some of the rougher patches. I was trying for a sinister malevolent look to the face. Go ahead and give me criticism, it is the only way for me to improve....Thanks for looking!
