Righty, I’z is back. This mini was done over a year ago for the eye of terror painting contest at GW Rome opening ceremony thing-magigy. Won its category but didn’t fetch the big fish. Looking back I know why. The painting is actually only 80% finished. But I love the pose a am very happy with the conversion. Even if it could do with a little more work. There are 2 posts of this mini Post 1 shows the “quality” of the painting. Post 2 shows more the “pose” What w’all think? i.e. dem comments welcome

The minor conversions are good, I'm not too fond of the pose myself, Has this been dipped? the shiney finished suggests it has, I like the way it looks for nurglesque critters., but as has already been said, the introduction of flat areas for contrast would work wonders.

There are just too many things thrown on this mini. The pose is great, the maggots and nurgle's rot is greatly sculpted and painted, the armour nicely damaged (I love the crack at the backpack vent), you also made the second ugliest mutated head look handsome (nurglish that is). The severed head must go (the grenade still looks like... grenade, not like hair-ring) as must the "Banner of the Horned Rat". It would look better if the armour were matt and the skin areas were glossy.
