Bane Leader
Here's the first Dark Age mini I've ever painted, and I have to say they are fantastic! This one in particular I knew I had to paint as soon as I first saw it, and when the Artemis Black's painting competition featured Dark Age minis I entered this one (don't know how it went yet...). I decided to try and blend the robes as smooth as I could, but I also added some freehand stripes to the inside of one of them. I had my first go at gold SENMM on the breast and back plate, but I'm not really satisfied with it. The SENMM on the staff handle is much better imo. Hm, what else...yeah, the base. The top part is made from cork, and the blocks are cut out from erasers. I decided to paint them in a red, crystal like style, to complement the green robe of the mini. I seem to have a thing for high bases at the moment...:)
