Giant

Finally a miniature which I painted the last couple of months ... I own an orc & goblin army with whom I play regularly so finally I managed to paint this mini and use it in my games ... I love the brutality of the mini and I seeked to paint the giant in a "dirty" way as I cannot believe that this guy is actually clean ... no he is dirty and smelss so I wanted the paint job to express that ... I used a lot of dark colours and black to express this ... The mini is unfortunately already varnished because I used it already in a game so ignore the shiny glance ...

The more I look at this, the more I like it. It deserves a much higher score. He looks filthy, but the painting is not slopy. You are right, the gloss has to go.

Thanks! The varnish doesn't do any good on this photo because he looks far more darker in real life ... I used a lot of freehad and wet in wet blending on this one ... unfortunately they do not come trhough very well on these photo's ...
