Witchhunter Inquisitor & Retinue

This is the inquisitor and his retinue for my witchhunters army. This was my first display base for a squad, and I'm not completely satisfied with the result, but a great learning experience. Most of these minis are posted individually already, but have each been rebased to fit with the theme of the army, and photographed again. As always comments/critisism are appreciated.

I can't believe I've waited this long to go thru EricJ's gallery :D I'd give this a 9.5 . Eric.. Beutiful work...and I personally like the base :D :D My only complaint... the models look too neat and nice...for some reason; I don't see them as a witchhunter retinue for some reason :) Sanjay

The painting is marvelously executed, but the bases trouble me - having every model on a rock/wall section, then putting them all together makes the whole scene WAY too busy - perhaps if you built each base up towards the middle of the diarama as if they are standing on a hill - this would put the emphasis not only back on the models, but on the Witch Hunter himself.

Awesome squad...great painting, little conversions, and the nmm is excellent on all of them. As for the base, I think it's just a bit too cluttered. They're all just kinda packed on there, and it looks a bit too busy. Secondly, the colour scheme need a bit more unification, or something. The reds on the WH look different from the reds, on the Crusaders, etc. Still, great squad. :)
