I did a blend on the horns, claws, and teeth, but the photography just didn't support it. As for the base, I tried to stay true to the original artwork that Larry Elmore did, which is on the box cover. I have not see this dragon except in auction and now I know why they are so pricey. I like the base color for sure and the eye area is very well done. I think that the base terrain could have been a more complementary color, I find the gray distracting. Blending on the horns to get a transition from base to tip in gradient would also bring this to life. What a prize you have there
