Games Day Diorama.
A thief is disturbed by the local militia whilst robbing an old man, a pouch of coin dropped to the ground. One of the rescuers has his throat slashed before he can draw his pistols. His comrade takes aim at the fleeing robber. This was one of my two entries for GD 2004. I did the bulk of the painting the last week running up to the day and was very pleased for it to be a finalist in the diorama catagory. The cloak freehand is something ive been dying to have a try at ever since petethemighty made a comment on another of my minis some time back. (come on Pete have a go yourself and show me how it should be done) :0) Its based on a Whitesnake album cover 'Lovehunter', by Chris Achilleos.
