Crom the Conqueror
Crom in all his pridefull glory! I tried to follow the studios version as close as possible, but some things I didn't like, so I added my own personal touch. You really can't see the gloss/shine effect I got on his sword. I really like it, for when you turn the mini, you can see the highlights change in relation to the light. I did find it hard painting a model thats mostly in plate armor, since it runs toward just one color, and it looks a bit bland. I think the shield, and the Empire helmet he's standing on helps off set the single color curse. I did play around with some greenstuff, to make some tentacle looking things creeping out of the helmet (in a nod to Tzeench and Slannesh) I added some green to his cloak for Nurgle, Red on his sword and around the gold trim for Khorne. After all, his is the Chaos Undivided Champion, and he worships each and every Chaos god equally, right? Comments always welcome, either good or bad. Thanks for looking!
