Ork hunting party

Once upon a time...there was Grendel´s "Leviathan", a tabletop whose main attraction was (at least in my eyes) a line of gigantic resin-based beasts, monsters, elementals, you name it. but, as resin is great stuff to make large beasties of, the riders (if any) tended to be slightly less attracting... so, dremel-tool to the fore, off with those cast-on legs and stuff, on with some orky chaps and, well, all this lizard-riding thing got a bit out of hand with plastic dinos from various sources.. ahh, well, see for yourself... i intend to add to this bunch of guys an even huger, scratchbuilt warbeast, which i just posted as a work in progress pic. as i greatly appreciate comments, please don´t spare me advice!

Thank you for your comments! While i think the pic does exaggerate the skin colour ( it is a pale green in real life) it is nevertheless more on the cartoony side. this was in keeping with the times the figures were built (GW hadn´t published Goramorka yet and mainstream orks were clean and bright...times and tastes change...) the poses: this is a straight Bullseye! You are absolutely right; it was just the best i could manage then... i hope the warbeast(68601), if it gets finished, will add some spice and dynamics....

A very original and nice idea. The skincolor in general looks a bit off (I'm not a huge fan of neon orks), but that may or may not be the camera. Also, the poses doesn't say a lot.. they're not bad, but they don't add anything to the mini either. Anyhow, keep it up. It's looking sweet.
