Black Coach

I painted this model for tabletop use in my Sylvanian army. It is based on the Mordheim Stagecoach from GW, with a fair bit of conversion work. The Wraith from the original Black Coach has been added, along with his spectral steeds (hence the greenish hue); I've also included scythes on the back wheels and the spiky bits on top. I kept a simple paint scheme for this one, emphasizing the texture of the wood and the contrasting colours of the tinted glass and side panels. The wraith was blended up from a black base coat using a beige highlight colour. Unlike most wraith models, he actually has skin (!), which I painted with a pale tone and shaded by adding light glazes of purple and green. Comments welcome, particularly as I am currently working on another coach. cheers

No the greenish hue to the steeds works for me.. as it is obviously meant to be a result from the green lanterns and the green lighting coming from the coach.. and with VC armies always being under a cover of darkness... love the ways you have brought out the red of the coach and the green lighting as well.. great work.

I personally don't like the greenish tone of the steeds, but the overall look is impressive.
